How listings are vetted

  1. 1

    Start from the map

Every place to stay begins as a public business record for a hotel, motel, rental, campground or RV park within reach of the venue.

  2. 2

    Keep the open ones

Places that are closed, have no reviews, have gone quiet for a year or do not take overnight guests are left out, and duplicates are merged.

  3. 3

    Read their own website

Pools, pets, kitchens, hookups and shuttles are marked only when the property's own site says so.

  4. 4

Say when we do not know

If a property's site gives no answer, the listing says "not enough info" instead of guessing.

Every place to stay on this site starts from public business records for hotels, motels, inns, bed and breakfasts, vacation rentals, campgrounds and RV parks in the towns around the Gorge Amphitheatre. We keep places that are open and have guest reviews, leave out ones that are closed, no longer active or not open to overnight guests, and merge duplicates. Each listing shows its rating, its review count and its distance in miles from the venue.

The details on each listing, such as a pool, a hot tub, a kitchen, a pet policy, RV hookups or a shuttle to shows, come from the property's own website. When the website does not say, the listing says "not enough info" rather than guessing. Rates, availability and minimum stays change often, so we leave them to the property: call or book with them directly. The publisher does not own any property on this site, and every paid placement carries a visible Sponsored label.

Owners can claim a listing to correct details or add photos. A person checks every claim. Published by Bryan.

How to choose a place to stay in Washington

Choosing among hotels near the Gorge Amphitheatre starts with one fact that shapes the whole weekend: the venue lots do not allow overnight parking, and vehicles left there are towed. So before you look at rooms, decide where everyone will sleep and how they will get back to it after the encore. George WA Hotels is an independent guide and is not affiliated with the venue.

## How far is each place?

Every listing shows its distance in miles from the Gorge Amphitheatre. Roads out here are long and open, but show traffic is a different drive from a quiet weekday, so open a map app and set it to the day and hour you plan to travel.

George, Quincy and Vantage are the closest towns on the site. If you are searching for hotels near the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA, expect a short list there and a longer one a little farther out. Moses Lake, Ellensburg and Wenatchee have the most places to stay, which matters when the closest rooms are gone. Ephrata, Soap Lake, Othello and East Wenatchee fill in the map between them.

## Getting there and getting home

No public transportation goes to the venue. Rideshare can drop you off, but the venue does not guarantee a pickup, so plan a ride home before the night starts. If your route uses I-90, WSDOT is rebuilding the Vantage Bridge deck through fall 2027, with one lane each way and long delays on Gorge weekends. The venue warns of delays of four hours or more. Our Seattle driving guide and our parking guide go through the details and link to the official pages.

## Camping or a room?

The venue runs its own campground, with five tiers and two glamping options, and you need a concert ticket to stay there. Many groups camp. Others want a real bed, a shower with no line and a door that locks. Our camping guide explains the venue's tiers and lists the independent campgrounds and RV parks nearby, so you can compare places to stay near the Gorge Amphitheatre side by side.

## Group size and event weekends

Count heads before you search. Every property sets its own guest limit, its own rules for extra guests and its own minimum stay on busy weekends, so ask before you pay. A rental house suits a group that wants one shared space. Separate rooms suit friends who want their own bathroom and their own morning. Keep the cancellation terms in writing.

## Before you book

Check your date on the venue's official [Shows page](https://www.gorgeamphitheatre.com/shows), then compare lodging near the Gorge Amphitheatre on distance, guest limits and cancellation terms. Each of the George WA hotels, motels and campgrounds here lists its own website and phone number, so you can ask your questions directly. Venue rules on bags, parking and gates can change by show. Frequently asked questions

Is George WA Hotels affiliated with the Gorge Amphitheatre?

No. George WA Hotels is an independent guide. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the Gorge Amphitheatre or Live Nation, and it does not sell tickets, camping passes or parking. For show dates, tickets and venue rules, use the venue's own website.

How far are hotels from the Gorge Amphitheatre?

Every listing shows its distance in miles from the venue. George, Quincy and Vantage are the closest towns, with fewer places to stay. Moses Lake, Ellensburg and Wenatchee have more choice and a longer trip after the show. Check a map app for your day and time.

Is there a shuttle from hotels to the Gorge?

The venue does not list any shuttle from hotels or from Seattle. A few places to stay run their own: Wildhorse Campground and Sage Creek Campground near Quincy offer free shuttles for their campers, and The GQ Extended Stay in George and Crescent Bar Vacation Rentals offer concert shuttles. Ask about times when you book.

Can you sleep in your car at the Gorge Amphitheatre?

No. The venue prohibits overnight parking in its lots, and vehicles left before or after an event are towed at the owner's expense. It points overnight guests to its campground, so plan where you will sleep before the night of the show.

Can you camp at the Gorge Amphitheatre?

Yes. The venue runs its own campground with five tiers and two glamping options, and a concert ticket is required to stay there. For more choice, our camping guide lists independent campgrounds and RV parks in the towns around the venue.

Do properties pay to be listed here?

No. A basic listing is free and stays free. Some properties may pay for a featured spot, and those always carry a visible Sponsored label. The publisher does not own any property listed on this site.
